Once in a while, a horoscope nails it, even if only with advice we can all use.
“So what do you want to be when you grow up?” it asks today.
It’s a valid question at any age, and ironically, more relevant as we age…as we sift through joys and sorrows with the privilege of perspective.
We pause to look around at what we have created and where we are. We question the choices we made…the paths we took and those we didn’t. As well we should.
Our minds play all sorts of tricks to deceive us with illusions of comfort and certainty, or else with fears and obstacles. But we know it in our bones if we have settled. And it’s never a good thing.
Sometimes, we notice that we also know exactly what is missing. Maybe we don’t have all the answers, but we have the most important one. And so we might hope it’s not too late for that dream, that wish, that chance.
But how to pursue it? Is it too late?
The stars do not reveal all the answers. But they did reveal a most important one tonight. There is no how, and it is too late for certain if we never try.
